Day 2 of my 30 days ab ripper! It hurt just as much as yesterday, but, I did do more like 225 situps today. Plus the biggest accomplishment was I went roller blading with my Mia Rose today (she rode her bike) went about 2 miles down a huge hill (one of the neighbors just shook his head at me as I went speeding by), I made it down the hill with no crashes and made it home in 1/2 hour! Not bad for an old lady of 47!
So all this exercising you would think would make me tired, nope, I have cleaned all the bathrooms plus the floor, cleaned the outside fridge and went coupon shopping. Plus a few games of UNO with Mia and her friend. I will start to post some really good recipes that I have found to be good for you soon! Have a great night and remember "It's your life, its now or never"  Marguerite

First let me introduce myself, I am Marguerite mom of 3 beautiful children, Tyler who is 13, Max who is 11, and Mia Rose who is 9 1/2 (as she reads over my shoulder to remind me), and wife to Rich a hardworking dad and hubby. Without him I would be lonely and childless.  I work part time for a Landscaping Company in Wheaton, IL and also a consultant for The Pampered Chef for the last 10 years.

I decided to start this blog to help me through my weight loss journey.  I thought if I started blogging about this, one I would be held accountable two, maybe help someone else in their journey too.  So after 8 weeks on Weight Watchers I gained 10 lbs!  Somewhere here the last 2 weeks I have had a turnabout in my thinking, I don't think about what I am going to eat ALL the time.  I read on the Weight Watchers (WW) website how one lady would have a "Cheat day/weekend", she would eat all of her extra weekly points on the weekend, she tracked everything.  That clicked or was my AHA moment.  I used to cheat on my weigh in day (which gets you no where except 10lbs heavier), now I track everything I put in my mouth, I even go as far as the night before the weekend I even track those glasses of wine I might drink.  I have to say it is working I lost 3.8 lbs!  May not seem like a lot, but I didn't feel like I missed anything.

Ok, so now I am putting in my exercise.  I have started the P90X ab ripper 349 situps!  SO tonight was my first night and I may have done approximately 200 situps and they were HARD!  My challenge for myself is to do it everyday for 30 days.  I took a picture today and I will post that in 30 days with the new abs I am hoping to have.

I will post some good food I am having with my healthy lifestyle and how I am doing on my 30 day challenge.
For my first ever blog and my first ab challenge I bid you all goodnight!  Be healthy because as Bon Jovi says "It's your life, its now or never"    Marguerite
